【摘要】:ThisdocumentspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthepreventiveactionofawoodpreservativeagainsttheReticulitermesspeciesofEuropeantermiteswhenthepreservativeisappliedasasurfacetreatmenttowood.Thismethodisapplicableto:—water-insolublechemicalswhicharebeingstudiedasactiveingredients,—organicformulations,assuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates,—organicwater-dispersibleformulationsassuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates,and—water-solublematerials,forexamplesalts.NOTEThismethodcanbeusedinconjunctionwithanageingprocedure,forexampleEN73orEN84.note:1)ThismethodcanbeappliednotonlytodifferentspeciesofReticulitermes,butalsotootherspeciesofthefamilyRhinotermitidae,wherenecessaryadaptingthetemperatureandhumidityconditionsandtheassessmentofattacktothespecificbehaviourofthespeciesconcerned.
