【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameasureoftraceamountsofunsaturatedhydrocarbonsinpetroleumdistillatesboilingupto288x00B0;C(550x00B0;F).Anestimateofthequantityofthesematerialsisusefulinassessingthesuitabilityofthelighterfractionsforuseasreactionsolvents.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountofbromine-reactivematerialinpetroleumhydrocarbonsandisthusameasureoftraceamountsofunsaturatesinthesematerials.Itisapplicabletomaterialshavingbromineindexesbelow1000.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytoessentiallyolefin-freehydrocarbonsormixturesthataresubstantiallyfreefrommateriallighterthanisobutaneandhaveadistillationendpointunder288x00B0;C(550x00B0;F).Note18212;Thisprocedurehasbeencooperativelytestedonmaterialswithbromineindexesintherangefrom100to1000.Thesematerialsincludepetroleumdistillatessuchasstraight-runandhydrocrackednaphtha,reformerfeed,kerosine,andaviationturbinefuel.Note28212;Materialswithbromineindexgreaterthan1000shouldbetestedforbrominenumberusingTestMethodD1159/IP130.Note38212;BromineindexofindustrialaromatichydrocarbonsshouldbedeterminedusingTestMethodD1492orD5776.Thesubcommitteeiscurrentlyexaminingwaystoachievemoreconsistentendpointvalues.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
