【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestprocedure,environmentandinstrumentationformeasuringtheexteriorsoundpressurelevelsfromroadvehiclesunderstationaryconditions,providingacontinuousmeasureofthesoundpressureleveloverarangeofenginespeeds.ThisInternationalStandardappliesonlytoroadvehiclesofcategoriesL,MandNequippedwithinternalcombustionengines.Themethodisdesignedtomeettherequirementsofsimplicityasfarastheyareconsistentwithreproducibilityofresultsundertheoperatingconditionsofthevehicle.ItiswithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandardtomeasurethestationaryA-weightedsoundpressurelevelduringtypeapprovalmeasurementsofvehicle;measurementsatthemanufacturingstage;measurementsatofficialtestingstations;measurementsatroadsidetesting.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesneitheramethodtochecktheexhaustsoundpressurelevelwhentheengineisoperatedatrealisticloadsnoramethodtochecktheexhaustsoundpressurelevelsagainstageneralnoiselimitforcategoriesofroadvehicles.TechnicalbackgroundinformationisgiveninAnnexA.
